44 More Dengue Cases Surface In Karachi

KARACHI: At least 69 new dengue fever cases have been reported across the Sindh province in the last 24-hours, out of which 44 were recorded in the Karachi division alone.

The Vector-Borne Diseases (VBD) Department of Directorate General Health Services Sindh has registered 1634 dengue cases were reported from 1st January to 28 in October 2021 so far. 887 of those cases were detected in the Karachi division alone.    

A total of 15 people died of dengue fever in Sindh province, out of which most deaths were reported in Karachi.

Dengue cases continued to rise at a concerning rate in several areas of Pakistan. Citizens have complained about the precautionary actions, claiming that no fumigation has been carried out in their areas.
