ISLAMABAD: In the recent council meeting of the Pakistan Medical Commission new curriculum for MDCAT 2022 was approved. 

National Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) 2022 curriculum approved by PMC 

On the recommendation of the National Medical and Dental Academic Board, the Medical and Dental council adopted the MDCAT curriculum and subject weighting with minor modifications during its 12th meeting.

The following question weightings have been authorised for the curriculum of the MDCAT examination:

Biology: 34% 
Chemistry: 27% 
Physics: 27% 
English: 9% 
Logical Reasoning: 3% 

The MDCAT exam must also have 200 multiple-choice questions depending on the percentages listed previously.

In addition, the Council accepted the Academic Board's suggestion to remove the topic "Gout" from the MDCAT 2022 curriculum.
