New RED Vaccine Campaign Underway In Punjab

LAHORE: Dr Yasmin Rashid, the Health Minister of Punjab, has urged people to get vaccinated against COVID-19 through the Reach Every Door (RED) campaign, an enormous door to the door anti COVID vaccination drive based in Punjab.

She said Sardar Usman Buzdar, Chief Minister of Punjab, himself inaugurated the RED campaign.  

"During this campaign, we will vaccinate 15 million people at least. I appeal to people to get vaccinated in the RED campaign. CM Sardar is personally monitoring the campaign. We are making all-out efforts to vaccinate maximum people. District Health Authorities shall work in close collaboration with the administration." The HM assured.

"More than 14000 new centres have been set up. Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has asked elected representatives and social workers to come forward. We can avoid lockdowns by vaccination of the maximum population. We hope to return to normal life through this campaign. Without the support of the people, we cannot overcome Corona Pandemic." Dr Yasmin said, stressing the importance of herd immunization through the vaccine.

"The government is providing quality vaccines free of cost. Unvaccinated citizens must use this opportunity. In case of queries, people may contact 1033 for queries." she informed.
