20 dead in bus and oil tanker collision

Bahawalpur: A sleeper bus collided with an oil tanker on the M-5 Motorway near Bahawalpur on Tuesday 16th August 2022. The incident has cost 20 people, their lives, while several have been injured in the accident.

Motorway officials report the sleeper bus wavered off course in high speed which caused the collision. The sleeper bus, as well as the oil tanker, caught fire immediately after the collision. The motorway officials as well as the police reached the accident site soon after the accident took place, rescue teams also reached the site to put out the fire.
