Everyone in Islamabad will get free rides on metro bus

ISLAMABAD: It has been announced by Shehbaz Sharif, Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, that the Metro bus service will be free for all commuters during the holy month of Ramadan.

He announced the news while inspecting the construction site.

While visiting the Metro Bus Service in Islamabad, he also raised concerns about the four-year delay in the completion of the project from Peshawar Morr to New Islamabad International Airport.

An official of CDA and NHA told him that Rs 16 billion had been spent on the project, and the delay was disappointing. He was informed of the project by these officials.

The delay is being investigated by a committee set up by the premier.
