ISLAMABAD: Shahbaz Sharif, Prime Minister of Pakistan, the federal government will supply solar panels to Gwadar residents.

In a message posted to Twitter, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that the federal government has chosen to deliver solar panels to Gwadar residents in an effort to alleviate their hardships.

PM Shahbaz Sharif also ordered the completion of construction on transmission lines in South Balochistan by December 2022 and the development of a comprehensive off-grid system, according to the Prime Minister.

The decision was made during a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif in Islamabad.

Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal, Federal Minister for Power Engineer Khurram Dastgir, and Senior Officials from the respective ministries attended the meeting.
