Punjab announces significant relief for medical staff

LAHORE: Sardar Usman Buzdar, Chief Minister of Punjab, on the first day of the new year, had announced a significant relief for ad hoc doctors and other staff of the Primary & Secondary Healthcare Department and directed the concerned authorities to extend their contract by one year. 

The Chief Minister of Punjab said that this initiative would provide relief to thousands of ad hoc doctors and other staff honestly. He also directed to ensure the timely disbursement of the salaries of ad hoc doctors and other staff. He also directed to unfasten all the hurdles besides taking prompt measures to disburse salaries to Primary & Secondary Health doctors.  

He articulated that the incumbent government is fully aware of the problems of ad hoc doctors who are serving ailing humanity. The PTI government will leave no stone unturned in resolving the problems of doctors in future as well and would take all necessary steps for the betterment of the health sector.  

He assured that every possible step would be taken to facilitate the ad hoc doctors and other staff as the Government of Punjab appreciates the services of doctors, nurses and other paramedical staff.
