Breast cancer treatment unit is part of Ganga Ram Hospital says, Yasmin

LAHORE: Dr Yasmin Rashid stated that the breast cancer treatment unit was part of the Ganga Ram Mother and Child block.  

Dr Yasmin Rashid, Health Minister of Punjab, called up a meeting of the project implementing team at the Fatima Jinnah Medical University (FJMU) to monitor progress. Prof Dr Amir Zaman Khan, Vice-Chancellor, FJMU, Dr Athar, Medical Superintendent, Ganga Ram Hospital, Chief Engineer, Communications and Works Department, Punjab, and other officials were present on occasion.  

Dr Yasmin reviewed the master plan, and the project director shared progress. Dr Yasmin expressed, "New departments have been added based on need assessment. A waiting area for attendants is being developed. The facility of private rooms will be available and modern water and electrification system is being developed. The most modern security system is also being introduced. A special counter for the Naya Pakistan Qomi Sehat card will be set up. A study room for students is part of the plan. A proper parking facility is also being set up. This project shall be completed as per deadline."
