The event triggered an inquiry by the authorities. The police station's CCTV cameras captured the encounter, and the film later went viral on social media.

In the video, a man is seen assaulting a woman. The female physician was observed standing and attempting to strike the man with one of her shoes.

Other police station personnel can be seen attempting to defuse the tension. According to media sources, the female physician and her spouse were involved in a domestic disagreement. They were instructed to settle their quarrel at the police station.

The media said that the doctor's husband did not appear at the police station but instead sent his cousin. A dispute erupted between the female physician and her husband's cousin, who then assaulted her; in response, the female physician struck him with a slipper. However, the man was apprehended instantly.
