Awareness session inspires cadets to pursue medical studies abroad

NAWABSHAH: The Bakhtawar Cadet College for Girls (BCCG) Nawabshah recently hosted an inspiring awareness session on pursuing medical education abroad at the International University Kyrgyzstan, International School of Medicine (IUK-ISM). The session aimed to guide aspiring cadets who are passionate about choosing medicine as their career path.

The keynote speaker, Fizza Ali Tunio, a proud ex-cadet of BCCG and current MBBS student at IUK-ISM Kyrgyzstan, shared her first-hand experience of applying, studying, and thriving at the university. Drawing from her personal journey, she provided detailed insights on the admission process, eligibility requirements, documentation, visa formalities, and student life in Bishkek.

Encouraging cadets, Ms. Tunio remarked: “Failure is not the end result—failure is part of learning.” She urged students to remain focused, informed, and determined while pursuing their dreams of becoming doctors.

Highlighting the unique strengths of IUK-ISM, she said:

She also informed that IUK-ISM has now established its dedicated regional office in Karachi (DHA), headed by Dr. Ali Gulab Tunio, which exclusively assists Pakistani students. Importantly, all admission services are offered free of charge.

As a special gesture for Bakhtawar cadets, Ms. Tunio unveiled an exclusive scholarship package: students from BCCG choosing IUK-ISM will be offered free air travel and mess services.

The event concluded with a heartfelt souvenir exchange between Dr. Farida Shaikh, Principal of BCCG, senior faculty members, and Ms. Tunio, accompanied by her proud parents, Mr. & Mrs Ali Gulab Tunio. The interactive Q&A session allowed cadets to clarify queries on expenses, accommodation, curriculum, and career prospects, leaving them motivated and well-informed about their future possibilities.
