CALIFORNIA: A satellite-internet system dubbed Starlink, which Elon Musk announced SpaceX had made available in Ukraine and would be sending extra equipment so people could employ it in the wake of Russia's invasion, had been activated.

Mykhailo Fedorov, Ukraine's minister of digital transformation, had requested access to the service via Twitter, and Elon Musk, SpaceX's founder and CEO, reacted to his request in a tweet.

Recently, SpaceX has been working on developing Starlink, a high-speed internet service made possible by a network of satellites. Customers must have a terminal on the ground that can connect to the Starlink satellites in order to make use of the service.
