Health Asia 2025 exhibition opens in Karachi to promote innovation, global collaboration

KARACHI: The 22nd Health Asia International Exhibition opened today at the Karachi Expo Centre, marking a major step forward in Pakistan’s healthcare innovation, research, and international collaboration.

Organized by E-Commerce Gateway Pakistan in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and supported by the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), the three-day event — from October 23 to 25, 2025 — aims to showcase cutting-edge technologies, medical advancements, and investment opportunities driving the transformation of Pakistan’s health sector.

Global participation, investment opportunities

Delegations from 24 countries, including China, Russia, Iran, the United Kingdom, Turkey, and Hungary, are participating in this year’s event. The exhibition is expected to generate a business volume of around USD 150 million, underlining Pakistan’s growing potential as a regional hub for medical innovation and healthcare investment.

Focus on digital health, hospitals of the future

A key highlight of the event is the series of specialized conferences on digital health, medical technology, and the hospitals of the future, where international experts and local innovators are sharing insights on integrating artificial intelligence, data analytics, and telemedicine into Pakistan’s healthcare system.

Officials noted that the exhibition will play a pivotal role in the digital transformation of Pakistan’s health sector, creating avenues for international partnerships, technology transfer, and capacity building.
