Two more deaths push measles toll up to 25 in Dadu 

DADU: As measles claimed the lives of two more children in Dadu district, the death toll of the viral disease in the past four months has risen to 25.

Confirming the two recent deaths, Civil Surgeon Dr Amjad Mastoi said that an anti-measles vaccination drive is underway in Dadu district.

Dr Mastoi said as many as 397 children infected have been admitted to different hospitals with measles during the last four months.

He added that a large number of children have been diagnosed with measles in Juhi, Khairpur Nathan Shan, and Maher tehsils as well.

Sindh health department has set up camps in the affected areas where children are being immunized against measles, he added.
