At the International Symposium on International Collaboration for Health, I had the honor of addressing the urgent need for greater investment in Pakistan's healthcare sector. My message emphasized that the disparities and challenges in our medical system are largely due to a lack of collective interest in the well-being of the population. I underscored the need for a unified national and international effort to improve health outcomes and ensure equitable access to care for all.

During my address, I also took the opportunity to commend the Chinese Medical Association (CMA) for its incredible work in providing care for the underprivileged. Their exemplary role serves as a model for creating a more inclusive and just society through health initiatives.

A new era of collaboration for PMA and CMA

I am excited to announce that the Pakistan Medical Assocation (PMA) and Chinese Medical Association CMA have agreed to explore joint training programs, workshops, and symposiums aimed at enhancing professional development for doctors. A significant part of our discussions focused on the importance of continuous professional development, as we must keep pace with global medical advancements.

This partnership will pave the way for a new era of collaboration in medical research and public health, facilitating the exchange of expertise, research findings, and best practices. This is a monumental step in strengthening the bonds between the medical associations of Pakistan and China, ultimately benefiting the healthcare systems of both nations.
