Renowned Muslim scholar Mufti Menk visits Pakistan

KARACHI: Mufti Ismail Menk, one of the most prominent Islamic clerics on social media, has come to Pakistan as a third of the nation has been transformed into inland seas by torrential floodwaters.

Mufti Menk, the renowned preacher, who is adored by millions of Muslims around the globe, landed in Sindh, the province worst hit by the downpour, and engaged in aid efforts on the ground.

In one of the videos on his official Instagram, Mufti Menk, the Zimbabwean-born professor, can be seen visiting the Sindh district of Jhuddo, ravaged by flooding.

In addition, he urged his followers to give to flood victims, stating that Pakistan needs help. He requested to donate £100 for the tent and other essential commodities.
