NEW JERSEY: Dr Saba Hasan, a Pakistani-origin physician and current Director of the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Capital Health in New Jersey, has been selected as the 2026 President-Elect of the American College of Physicians (ACP) — the largest medical specialty organization for physicians globally, with more than 160,000 members across over 170 countries.

A graduate of Sindh Medical College in Karachi, Dr Hasan has spent decades in leadership roles in medical education and internal medicine practice.
