Suspect gets bail in the case of sexually harassing, filming Khadija Mehmood

FAISALABAD: Khadija Mehmood, a medical student and a Tiktokker, was allegedly kidnapped, tortured, sexually assaulted and filmed in Faisalabad by a businessman and at least five other individuals. Nevertheless, today the suspect was released on bail because of a lack of evidence. 

Six people were arrested after a video of the victim being assaulted and humiliated circulated like wildfire on social media. 

In the video, Khadija Mehmood is not only viciously assaulted but also verbally abused at their apartment in the affluent town of the area. They were seen to ask Khadija Mehmood to ask forgiveness from an individual named "Ana".

As per the sources, after the initial investigation by the law enforcement authorities, it was being said that the suspect was the father of Khadija Mehmood's friend, and Khadija Mehmood was harassed and filmed because she rejected the marriage proposal of her friend's father. However, the investigation is not completed.
