Imran Sikandar Baloch visits Wazirabad Institute of Cardiology

LAHORE: Imran Sikandar Baloch, Secretary Health, Punjab, suddenly arrived at Wazirabad Institute of Cardiology and DHQ Hospital Gujarat and reviewed the program counter and other medical facilities. 

Dr Qazi Ghulam Murtaza, MS, Wazirabad Institute of Cardiology, and Dr Abid Mahmood Ghori, MS, DHQ Hospital, Gujarat, briefed Punjab Health Secretary Imran Sikandar Baloch about the details of the medical facilities provided to patients.   

Medical facilities are being reviewed by visiting the teaching hospitals. Secretary Health Imran Sikandar Baloch has said that we are trying to ensure better treatment of patients in the government teaching hospitals of Punjab. We are also monitoring the treatment of dengue patients in the government teaching hospitals of Punjab. 

He said that shortfall had been met by immediately deputing radiologists in DHQ hospital Gujarat. Medicines are being provided to patients in government teaching hospitals in Punjab for free. 

Imran Sikandar Baloch said that The MS of all the government teaching hospitals had been instructed to create facilities for the patients. No patient should face any difficulty in all the government teaching hospitals of Punjab.
