Usman Buzdar griefs over deaths in Bahawalpur

LAHORE: Sardar Usman Buzdar, Chief Minister of Punjab, had expressed a deep sense of sorrow and grief over the death of four children in Bahawalpur. 

The incident occurred due to a collision between a rickshaw and a truck near Adda Musafir Khana, Bahawalpur. 

The Chief Minister of Punjab extended heartfelt sympathies and condolence to the bereaved families. Usman Buzdar also sought a report from Commissioner, Bahawalpur Division and Regional Police Officer (RPO), Bahawalpur, about the incident and directed legal action against the driver.

He further directed to provide the best treatment facilities to the injured. He also directed the administration to reach the hospital and take care of the treatment being provided to the injured.

Meanwhile, on the directions of the Chief Minister of Punjab, Irfan Ali Kathia, Deputy Commissioner, Bahawalpur, visited Bahawal Victoria Hospital to inquire after the injured children where he inspected the medical treatment facilities provided to them.  

The best medical facilities were being provided to the injured children, and the condition of the children was out of danger, he disclosed.  

Earlier, a truck collided with a rickshaw transporting children to school near Musafir Khana, Bahawalpur. As a result, four children died on the scene, and ten others were injured.
