Sindh's Governor directs IG for provision of security to Parveen

KARACHI: Parveen Rind, who has accused Ghulam Mustafa Rajput, Director, People's University, and other suspects of harassment, had received death threats, according to Imran Ismail, Governor of Sindh.

Since Parveen Rind had been targeted for assassination attempts, Imran Ismail had directed Mushtaq Mahar, Inspector General of Police, Sindh, to ensure her protection at all instances.

Imran Ismail further instructed the IG, Sindh, to produce a comprehensive report on the threats against the People's University student's life and the steps taken to ensure her safety.
