AKU alumna Dr Zeenat Sulaiman Khan re-elected to IHF governing council

KARACHI: Dr Zeenat Sulaiman Khan, an alumna of AKU School of Nursing and Midwifery, Pakistan, has been re-elected to the Governing Council of the International Hospital Federation (IHF), a testament to her outstanding contributions to healthcare systems and hospital administration worldwide.

Established in 1929, the IHF is a global not-for-profit organisation headquartered in Switzerland, dedicated to advancing hospital standards, improving patient safety, and enhancing healthcare quality across the world.

Extensive expertise in healthcare management

Dr Khan brings over 30 years of experience in healthcare systems, with deep expertise in hospital and nursing administration, quality improvement, and patient safety. She currently serves as Regional Chief Executive Officer of Aga Khan Health Services, East Africa (AKHS EA), leading both university teaching hospitals and non-academic hospital environments.
