According to the researchers, individuals exposed to artificial lighting, including those from bulbs, screens, LEDs or other forms light have been proven to be at a higher risk for the Diabetes Type 2 disease.

This research, conducted at a medical institution in China, explains, that artificial forms of light energy, exposed during the night time at sleeping hours, is known to adversely affect the heart and blood vessels, therefore increasing insulin dependence.
