Dow University condemns Indian aggression, rallies in solidarity with Pakistan Army

KARACHI: In a powerful demonstration of national unity, Dow University of Health Sciences staged protest rallies across its Ojha and Dow Medical College campuses to strongly condemn Indian aggression and voice unwavering support for the Pakistan Armed Forces.

At the Ojha Campus, the rally was led by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Jehan Ara Hassan, with active participation from hundreds of students, faculty members, and staff. Meanwhile, a simultaneous demonstration at Dow Medical College was led by Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Nazli Hossain. Students from Dow International Medical College and other departments joined in, carrying placards inscribed with slogans condemning Indian military actions and showing support for Pakistan’s defense.

Echoing through the campuses were powerful chants like “Pakistan ka matlab kya – La ilaha illallah”, “Pakistan Zindabad”, and “Pak Fauj Zindabad”, creating a spirited and unified atmosphere.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Jehan Ara Hassan addressed the rally with a passionate message:

“India’s cowardly acts will never succeed. Every Pakistani stands ready to defend the homeland. Our unity is our strength.”

At Dow Medical College, banners reading “Pak Army, March Forward – We Are With You” highlighted the message of resilience and national pride. Faculty members firmly declared that India’s recent aggression was a clear violation of international laws and a brutal act against civilians.

In their unified statement, faculty emphasized:

“These cowardly actions will not shake our resolve. We stand shoulder to shoulder with our brave soldiers. This is a decisive moment for national unity and defense.”

Dow University reaffirmed its national stance, stating that the institution stands aligned with the spirit of dignity, patriotism, and defense of sovereignty.

“This is not just a political issue — it is a matter of collective dignity. We are one nation, one voice, and one front.”

Pakistan continues to respond to India’s unprovoked aggression with firmness, dignity, and unity — sending a message to the world: we seek peace but will defend our sovereignty at all costs.
