KARACHI: Cervical cancer remains one of the most preventable and treatable cancers, yet it still claims the lives of many women worldwide. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), cervical cancer is the fourth most common cancer in women globally. In Pakistan, where early detection and access to preventive care remain challenges, the importance of awareness and education has never been greater.

To address these issues, The Aga Khan University Hospital (AKUH) is hosting a live session on Facebook titled "Cervical cancer: What every woman should know", scheduled for Friday, 9 January 2026, from 4:15 PM to 5:15 PM.
