GIMS boasts a state-of-the-art liver transplant facility, including:
• 60-bed wards
• 30-bed ICU
• 10-bed emergency unit
• 6 new operating theaters
• 80 specialized rooms

This infrastructure allows the center to accommodate the growing demand for liver transplants, making it one of the largest and most efficient programs in the country.

Bone marrow transplants: A new era of hope

Alongside liver transplants, GIMS has made significant strides in bone marrow transplants. The Bone Marrow Transplant Centre at GIMS has become a vital resource for patients battling blood disorders and cancer. Over 200 successful bone marrow transplants have been performed at the center, which offers free cancer injections to patients.
