Free disease screening camp for govt employees

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Secretary Zahid Akhtar Zaman recently inaugurated a two-day free screening camp at the Civil Secretariat in Lahore, organized by the Department of Primary and Secondary Health, to provide free testing for various health conditions to government employees.

The chief secretary personally inspected the counters and observed the screening process at the camp offering free tests for HIV (AIDS), hepatitis B and C, blood pressure, diabetes, and TB. The employees also have access to hepatitis B vaccination at the camp.

The event was also attended by additional chief secretary, Senior Member Board of Revenue, and finance secretary, who highlighted the importance and support from various government departments in promoting public health initiatives.
