How many ventilators are functional in government hospitals of Punjab?

LAHORE: The Department of Specialised Healthcare and Medical Education refuted newspaper reports that Punjab's government hospitals lacked ventilators.

According to the information, there are 1,850 completely functional ventilators for patients in the government teaching hospitals of Punjab.

According to Punjab Health Secretary Muhammad Usman, the General Hospital in Lahore has 39 ventilators, including backups. There is no lack of ventilators in government teaching hospitals in Punjab to treat patients.
