Dr Saeed Akhtar reappointed by PM Shahbaz Sharif

Dr Saeed Akhtar returned to the United States four years ago after a lengthy legal battle and other difficulties.
To motivate Shahbaz Sharif, Dr Saeed Akhtar flew all the way from the United States.

Saeed Akhtar was brought back to Pakistan by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, who had a hand in the process.

PKLI is a major provider of cutting-edge kidney and liver transplants.

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif designed this initiative to save liver and kidney patients from the high cost of treatment and travel hassles abroad.
In the Imran Khan regime, this project and many others were vulnerable to political retaliation.
