Students protest to retake MDCAT exams

KARACHI: The candidates who appeared in the entry test for admissions in medical institutes staged protests against Pakistan Medical Commission and Dow University outside DUHS.



The large numbers of male and female candidates were carrying placards and banners inscribed with different slogans such as:  'Stop Injustice with Candidates of Karachi' ,  'Upload Paper on PMC Website' , 'Give Grace Marks to Candidates' , 'Reconduct MDCAT test' and more.

The protesting candidates said several were declared failed in MDCAT test, low markings were given and various irregularities were identified in the marking process.

The protesters chanted slogans against PMC and Dow Medical University of Health Sciences administration.

On the other hand, Senior Politician and MQM Farooq Sattar also participated in the protest and said that injustice is being done with the candidates of Sindh province for several years.

He said the federal government, Sindh government, DUHS, and PMC have no time to address complains of the students.  
  
He demanded that the MDCAT test should be conducted according to the Sindh syllabus.
