KARACHI: What happens when Pakistan’s brightest young scientific minds are given microscopes, models, and a mission to solve real medical problems? You get an exhibition that feels less like a student showcase and more like a preview of the country’s scientific future.
That vision came alive at the 4th 3D-Science Model & Research Poster Exhibition, held recently at Dow College of Biotechnology. The event transformed classrooms into idea labs, where students translated complex genetic processes and disease mechanisms into striking 3D models and research posters that impressed faculty and experts alike.
From gene regulation in Drosophila melanogaster to advanced CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing techniques, the projects reflected both creativity and scientific rigor. The exhibition made one thing clear: Pakistan’s next generation of scientists is not just learning science, they are practicing innovation that could one day reshape medicine.
