KARACHI -Sindh government has accepted all the demands of Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) and other doctors organizations for paying compensation to doctors who were assassinated in Karachi.
General Secretary of PMA Karachi - Dr Qazi Muhammad Wasiq said; In the back drop of the strike called by the doctors on 2nd February 2015, and demands presented to Sindh government, all doctors in general and the families of the Shaheed doctors in particular, are informed that the provincial government has accepted almost all four demands of PMA and other organizations and societies.
He said at first stage, the government had agreed to pay support money for the families of the martyred doctors. He advised all the legal heirs to contact the PMA Karachi office to fulfill the legal formalities.
