New COVID-19 variant detected in Sindh

BA.4 and BA.5 are two new subvariants of the main Omicron variant that make the virus easier to spread than earlier versions.

At the moment, four of the COVID-19 Variants samples checked in Sindh are BA.4, and twelve are BA.5.

The Department of Health will keep telling people to follow all COVID-19 SOPs, get a booster shot of the vaccine, and stay away from large crowds unless it's absolutely necessary.
