385 dengue cases reported in Pakistan

KARACHI: At least 31 new dengue fever cases emerged across Karachi in a week, taking the reported case toll to 385 since January 1, 2020.

The Prevention and Control Program for Dengue (PCPD) Sindh has registered 32 new dengue fever cases across the Sindh province in a week, out of which 31 were recorded in Karachi and one in another district of the province.

39 dengue positive cases have been reported across the Sindh province in March so far, out of which 38 are from Karachi and one from another district of the province.

A total of 416 dengue cases have been reported from Sindh in 2020 so far, out of which 385 were reported from Karachi and 31 from other districts of the province.

A death resulting from dengue was also reported in Karachi.
