Drive against dengue virus

KARACHI - Sindh Minister for Health Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar has said that the campaign against dengue virus, currently under way in Karachi, will also be launched in other parts of the province.

He said that the campaign which was, at present, going on in Karachi will shortly be launched in other districts of the province, including Hyderabad, Thatta, Tando Allah Yar, Badin and Mirpurkhas.

“Over 500,000 pamphlets containing dengue virus-related information will be distributed among students and general public during the campaign,” the minister added.

During the ongoing drive against dengue virus, thousands of awareness pamphlets were distributed among the students of government schools.

Moreover, in charge Dengue Programme Dr Masood Solangi, has also briefed students about dengue virus, the minister added.
