KARACHI: The Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) has strongly condemned the recent unprovoked and cowardly attacks on innocent civilians by Indian forces. Terming these acts as grave violations of human rights and international law, the PMA expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives and extended heartfelt condolences to the victims' families.

In a powerful statement, the PMA reaffirmed its unwavering support for the brave men and women of Pakistan’s armed forces. The association stated that medical professionals across Pakistan are fully prepared to offer all necessary medical aid to the military as they safeguard the nation’s borders and honor.

The PMA acknowledged the sacrifices made by Pakistani soldiers and commended their commitment to protecting national sovereignty.

“We stand in solidarity with our defenders and will provide every possible support in times of crisis,” the statement read.

While advocating peace and dialogue, the PMA emphasized that the desire for peace must not be mistaken for weakness. “War is not a solution, but our resolve to defend Pakistan is unshakable. The medical community remains a vital part of the national defense and is ready to serve wherever needed,” it added.

The association further urged the international community to take notice of the targeted aggression against civilians and hold India accountable under international law. It reiterated its mission to serve the people of Pakistan in both peace and conflict, standing united in national interest and dignity.
