ISLAMABAD: PMC clarifies that it has neither directed dental institutions to combine with medical colleges nor shut down dental colleges in a public response to propagating inaccurate and false news.

Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) not to merge dental and medical colleges 

The PMC did allow a dental college to use some of the shared facilities with its medical colleges.

This step is taken by PMC to lend a hand to dental colleges financially. 

It is up to each dental college to decide whether to operate alone or with their medical college affiliates to cut operational expenses.
