Shortages of clinical faculty, admin staff persist in JPMC

KARACHI: Prof Shahid Rasul, Acting Vice-Chancellor, Jinnah Sindh Medical University (JSMU) and Executive Director, Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC), met Muhammad Ismail Rahu, Sindh Minister for Universities and Boards. 

In a meeting, Prof Shahid apprised the Ismail Rahu regarding his meeting with Syed Murad Ali Shah, Chief Minister of Sindh.

Prof Shahid Rasul informed Ismail Rahu that during his meeting, he briefed Syed Murad Ali Shah about the crises of JSMU and JPMC. The Syed Murad Ali Shah approved an increase in the grant of JSMU, instructed him to meet the shortage of clinical faculty and administrative staff by hiring personnel, and advised him to call meetings of the university senate and syndicate.
