She informed that a 70-year old patient, a resident of Karachi, was brought to the hospital where he was tested for COVID-19. The patient’s result came out positive after he passed away. The patient had a history of multiple health problems and contracted the virus locally.
Similarly, a-74-year-old patient, a resident of Karachi, was shifted to the hospital on 26th March, where he was tested for COVID-19. The patient has passed away. The patient had a history of Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome and diabetes.
This brings the total number of deaths in Sindh to 8 out of which five people died in Karachi due to the viral disease in the last 48 hours.
